2012 Lansing Marathon/Half-Marathon/Ekiden-Relay/5K Participants:
The entire 2012 Lansing Marathon team thanks you for your participation in our first-ever marathon and inaugural editions of other events! Without your support, these races would simply not have been possible.
We have ordered official 2012 Lansing Marathon Athletic Bags as our awards for this year, for the top-three finishers in all 12 age categories for the marathon, half-marathon and 5K races (male/female), as well as for top-three finishers in the open, grand-masters, and masters categories (male/female) for all three races. For the Ekiden relay, the top finishing team (male, female, and mixed teams) is eligible for awards. Bag styles vary based on race and award level.

We are also excited to announce our dates for next year! The 2013 Lansing Marathon and other events will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Registration will be opening soon, with a special "early bird" rate. Race Director Owen Anderson will continue to offer training clinics throughout the year, with walking classes Monday evenings at 6 and running sessions Wednesday evenings at 6 (please check the calendar on the home page for locations, which vary from week to week). Additionally, we are excited to announce a New-Year's "Resolution Race" 5K on January 1, 2013! Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
